Real Reviews from Tiger owners:

Since we’ve covered the features and the Pros and Cons for the Tiger PDU-A40U-K earlier, now it’s time to know what the general masses have a say regarding this water boiler:

It is the ideal kettle for me. To put in detail, the 3.0-liter is my preferred variant since I have a large family and we’d certainly want to have enough hot water for the whole day. We’d use it for soups, instant noodles, coffee, tea, and the like. It’s easy to use and it’s easy to monitor the warmer’s current temperature due to the LED gauge. It’s easy to maintain too due to it being easy to clean and its dechlorinate feature.” — Lissa Johns

My Tiger Review “Almost a perfect water boiler for me. I love its temperature settings; I love its consistency in being able to dispense hot water or boiling water whenever I want it. I can keep track of the water levels of the kettle due to that water level gauge window but I have a suggestion or two or more to further improve this kettle. My first suggestion is that it must have an “on” switch. Admittedly, turning it on is easy through the magnetic cord but I’d prefer a switch so that I won’t have to plug and unplug it repeatedly when in use or not.” — Katherine

Review of water boiler tiger “Amazing product in my opinion. Sure, I may end up plugging it repeatedly whenever I want to use it or not but in the end, it is still a very convenient water boiler. My family loves this water boiler so much – my husband loves to take some of the hot water for his morning coffee, I make oatmeal or hot milk chocolate drinks for the kids for breakfast and I spare some water for myself whenever I want a piping hot cup of tea.” — Maria Cortez

Tiger Water Boiler opinion “Been using this wonder of a water boiler for quite a while and I’ve been very pleased with the hot water it gives to me on a regular basis. Quite surprised that it is cheap too, worth the purchase!” — Kevin

SUMMARY:

Overall, the Tiger PDU-A40U-K offers excellent performance all-around when it comes to boiling water. It is easy to maintain and to use. Many users have praised it for those reasons.
The only caveat it has is the fact that the PDU-A40U-K lacks a timer and has no café drip. This means that it needs a bit of babysitting and cannot dispense precise volumes of water.
The smaller water level gauge window, while it does give some degree of visibility. It can be a little trickier to estimate how much water is left inside the container.
The PDU-A40U-K doesn’t have an on or off switch button and relies merely on the magnetic cord to be powered up and lastly, it doesn’t have energy-saving mode support which could make it even better.
In spite of the few flaws it has, the Tiger PDU-A40U-K still has a following due to the fact that it has a cheaper price tag and could be an attractive choice for those who are trying out a water boiler for the first time.

zojirushi boiler personal review “Among all the water boilers that you can purchase in the market, the Zojirushi is considered to be the tea connoisseur’s dream boiler. What I love about the Zojirushi is the “Quick Temp” feature which I say, must become the standard of high-tech water boilers and so far, Zojirushi has this feature making them stand out. For those who are curious, Quick Temp allows you to heat up the water in a very few minutes up to the ideal temperature you want. This is great for tea lovers who’d like to try out different types of teas in their ideal steeping temperatures.” — Michael

Zojirushi boiler machine “The vacuum layer seems to work well in our Zojirushi boiler, at one point my neighborhood had a power outage for hours and I was pretty surprised that the water that I heated hours ago was still warm. It works as advertised! I even managed to enjoy a hot cup of coffee while the lights were out. This is something that the other water boilers lack since by that time, the heated water could have gone cold and will need reheating.” — Helen Floid

water boiler reviewed “At first glance, the initial cost of the water boiler might make you think twice however in the end, it completely stomps the rest of the competition. In my honest opinion, the Zojirushi is the best water boiler – it’s easy to use, easy to maintain, quick temp makes it an attractive choice for tea lovers.” Ronald Sun

Zojirushi electric water boiler “Unlike the other water boilers that seem to promise a lot of features but fall flat on the end, this one isn’t. It has a hefty price tag, sure but the benefits you’ll get in the longer makes it all worth the investment. I really adore the Quick Temp feature since I can get heated water whenever I need it. It is Big, you can see the relative size in the photo” Jenny Duran

The CV-DDC40XT is no exception as it is a host to a variety of great features such as the 4-temperature settings, its capability to retain heat better than most water boilers, and quick temp mode which allows you to get water quickly.

With a café drip dispensing mode, you can dispense hot water without having to worry about some of it splashing on the countertop.
Water aside, it is easy to maintain and can support both descaling and de-chlorination modes. If ever the water level goes too low, the boiler automatically shuts down and it can support an energy-saving mode which can span from 6-10 hours.
